As much as I would have loved to have seen Frank Turner at Leeds I have no regrets with selling my ticket. Firstly, how much I actually would have seen of the gig is questionable since I’m 4ft9” and the chances of me getting to the front of that crowd are slim. Secondly, I gave Joe and Colleen the chance to be together for their 1 year anniversary. Third (and final)ly, I couldn’t have handled being away again. I have been away from absolutely everyone for 1 month of this summer which is too much. Vlad is off to uni in a couple of weeks and despite not doing anything this weekend at least it was time with him.
Mum’s working so much recently, usually from 7am - 10pm most days so I want to seize some moments with her too before I bugger off. Even when she didn’t work as much we didn’t spend that much time together, but it was nice to have the option.
